N06022 (Hastelloy C22) is a nickel based high-temperature alloy composed of elements such as nickel, molybdenum, cobalt, and tungsten. The nickel content is approximately 60%. It is a universal Ni Cr Mo W alloy with better overall corrosion resistance than other existing Ni Cr Mo alloys, including Hastelloy C-276, C4 alloy, and 625 alloy. ASTM B622 N06022 is a nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy. Nickel is the primary element, providing the alloy pipe with good ductility and basic corrosion resistance. Other key alloying elements include chromium, molybdenum, and tungsten. Chromium provides resistance to oxidation and corrosion in oxidizing media; molybdenum provides resistance to corrosion in reducing media and pitting and crevice corrosion; and tungsten further enhances pitting and crevice corrosion resistance and improves the pipe's mechanical strength.
